South Korean and Vietnamese Prime Ministers to Meet in Seoul

Seoul — Prime Minister Han Duck-soo of South Korea is set to host his Vietnamese counterpart, Pham Minh Chinh, for official talks in Seoul next week, signaling further enhancement of bilateral relations between the two nations.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Prime Minister Chinh will visit South Korea from Sunday to Wednesday upon Han's invitation. The two leaders are scheduled to discuss various issues on Tuesday, followed by a welcome dinner hosted by Han. This visit marks the highest-level visit by a Vietnamese official since the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between South Korea and Vietnam in 2022, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of their diplomatic relations.

"The visit is expected to serve as an opportunity to further deepen the mutually beneficial, practical, and strategic cooperation between the two countries across all sectors," stated a press release from Han's office. Prime Minister Chinh will be accompanied by his wife, Le Thi Bich Tran, during his visit.
