Seoul - "Noryang: Deadly Sea," a film about the legendary South Korean naval admiral Yi Sun-sin, surpassed 1 million cumulative viewers just four days after its opening, Lotte Entertainment announced on Saturday.

According to Yonhap News Agency, The movie, directed by Kim Han-min, is the final installment in a trilogy depicting the admiral's life and focuses on his last naval battle. As of 6 p.m. Saturday, the film accounted for 42.3 percent of local box office ticket sales.
