“Night Fishing” to Compete at Fantasia International Film Festival in Canada

MONTREAL - The South Korean mystery thriller "Night Fishing" has been invited to participate in the short film category at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Canada, its distributor announced.

According to Yonhap News Agency, programmer Nicolas Archambault noted the film's capacity for expansion into a feature film due to its captivating universe. Directed by Moon Byoung-gon, a previous Palme d'Or winner for Short Films at Cannes, "Night Fishing" explores a mysterious incident at a car charging station, lasting nearly 13 minutes. The festival, known for celebrating genre films, runs from July 18 to August 4 in Montreal.
