According to Yonhap News Agency, The company reported that the six-minute outage was triggered by an unstable situation during an internal system operation, but service was promptly restored.
The incident follows a significant outage in 2022 when a fire at a data center led to widespread service disruptions for Kakao's operations. The company has reassured users that it has taken steps to prevent such occurrences in the future.
