De Mello Coffee to Open First Outlet in Seoul

SEOUL - Canadian specialty coffee chain De Mello Coffee announced its entry into the South Korean market with the opening of its first outlet in Seoul's Guro Digital Complex later this month. Founded in 2014 in Toronto by South Korean native Felix Cha, the brand plans to establish two more stores in the city. De Mello Coffee's pricing strategy includes offering a medium-sized Americano at a lower cost compared to Starbucks' regular-sized Americano.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company, known for its coffee shops and roasted coffee bean supply in Canada, aims to cater to the growing demand for specialty coffee among South Korean consumers.
